PICS Label Distribution — Label Syntax and Communication Protocols

This document has been prepared for the technical subcommittee of PICS (Platform for Internet Content Selection). It defines a general format for labels and three methods by which these labels may be transmitted: (1) In an HTML document. (2) With a document transported via a protocol that uses RFC 822 headers. (3) Separately from the document.
