Descriptions
Abstract:

SVG is a language for describing vector graphics, but it is typically rendered to a display or some form of print medium. The SVG Compositing module adds support for the full range of Porter and Duff operators and blending modes. The module allows for raster and vector objects to be combined to produce eye catching effects. This document defines the markup used by SVG Compositing for display and printing environments. It explains the technical background and gives guidelines on how to use the SVG Compositing specification with the SVG 1.1 Full and SVG 1.2 Tiny specifications and other SVG modules.
