Today's course summary provides a brief overview of the topics we have covered this semester, and how they fit into the bigger picture. We will also discuss how to go through the final stages of the projects, discussing the project presentations next week, the project showcase, and how to submit the project results. Last but not least, we will also use today's class for submitting course feedback in the form of two course surveys.

(4) Project Presentations

• 10-15min with a short Q&A session afterwards
• Project presentations are 10% in the grading mix [Overview and Introduction; Grading (1)]
  • ...but they are very important for us to understand your project better
• Follow a simple standard presentation structure
  • Problem statement
  • Overview of solution and implementation
  • System architecture (how everything fits together end-to-end)
  • Mapping to AS vocabulary
  • What worked or did not work in the AS approach (we value any feedback)
  • Mashup design and implementation
• Demos never hurt...

(5) Project Showcase

• Monday, May 11, 3.30-6.30pm in 202 South Hall
• Prepare an elevator pitch for showcase visitors
• Have a demo ready to show thew working parts of your project
• Make a sign for your project so that people can find you
• A poster is optional but might help to better explain the project
• Food/refreshments will be provided

• Consider it as a written version of the presentation
• We need everything that is necessary to run your project
