Initial Survey about "Bibliographic and Reference Information Management"

Survey Description

This initial survey for the ShaRef Project was conducted in February 2004. Its purpose was not to create a detailed study of the current usage of reference information at ETHZ, but to get a first understanding of what the scientificially working people of ETHZ are using, how they are using it, and what they would think of alternatives. The motivation for this survey was to gather some data for the ShaRef project proposal, because the project's goals are very user-centered, and would be rather pointless if there were no interest among the users at ETHZ.
