EGNOS (European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service)

EGNOS is an overlay system for the GPS service which enhances the accuracy of GPS navigation by transmitting differential information. EGNOS can be used in Europe only (similar services are available as WAAS in North America and as MSAS in Japan).
